Dave Edyburn is a expert in the field of special education. He is a professor in the Department of Education at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee who has written What Every Teacher Should Know About Assistive Technology and co-edited Handbook of Special Education Technology Research and Practices.
Grace Meo is also a founding member of CAST and works as the director of professional development and outreach at the center. She is actively involved in research and design of building common understanding about universal design for learning. Ms. Meo is a leader in the state level professional development providing inservices both on and offsite. She has reported her research through a number of journal articles.
Anne Meyer is another leading expert in the field who has worked closely with David Rose on many projects including co-authoring a number of books. She sits on the board of directors for CAST. Dr. Meyer is a registered psychologist whose primary focus is her research and work in the area of learning disabilities and the psychology of learning.
David Rose,a Harvard professor is one of the founding members of the Center for Applied Technology (CAST). Through his work he saw the need to establish a center to support the ongoing work of providing support for students with disabilities. His is a leading researcher in the field who is know internationally through his keynote addresses at high profile conferences. He has written books and articles which contribute to the growing resources in this field.
